French term

Les abondements complémentaires

French to English Bus/Financial Management Training opportunities
Context:

Additional opportunities?

Not my usual field so struggling with some of this text.

TIA Chris.

Note from asker:
Is this related to employee training?

neutral mrrafe : The question is about a subsidy for retraining employees in danger of losing their jobs. Is that a retirement plan? If not, the dictionnaire.com definition is not pertinent.

additional employer's contributions

I would be tempted to add "employer's" just to make the meaning absolutely clear.

supplementary contributions

I think the contributions are supplementary, i.e., from the employer exclusively - not complementary, as in the case where the employer is making contributions to match the employee's contributions to a retirement fund.

In this case I think the contributions are payments for work hours spent in retraining rather than ordinary work.

CPF means compte personnel de formation. The employer is required to credit the employee with a credit for hours "worked" which, in reality, the employee may spend in training rather than their regular employment. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compte_personnel_de_formation

Perhaps one can call them CPF supplementary contributions.
