La ligne de coude

French to English Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion Fashion
Hello, I'm stuck on what La ligne de coude would be in English in the context of a bomber jacket- see below. Thank you.

L.Lepetit Jan 25, 2017:
sorry to say that but the question was about "ligne de coude". If you close the question with "elbow darts", that won't be the right translation
Zoe Adelman (asker) Jan 25, 2017:
Thank you all so much. I really appreciate your help.
This is my first post- is there anything I need to do now re this post?
Joanne Nebbia Jan 25, 2017:
OK - I will :)
Jennifer White Jan 25, 2017:
agree with Britaly These are elbow darts. Why not post this as an answer?
Joanne Nebbia Jan 25, 2017:
Elbow line is the right translation for ligne de coude but ligne de coude froncée is most probably elbow darts
Rebecca Mynett Jan 25, 2017:
Is is a misprint? It's hard to tell without a picture of the garment, but could it be a misprint for 'ligne de coudre' - the stitching line?

I am wondering whether 'elbow line' is the same thing as 'ligne de coude'
If you look at the following link (and many others) the 'elbow line is horizontal
http://iconicpatterns.com/2015/06/09/old-school-narrow-sleev...
whereas the 'ligne de coude' seems to be vertical
