Mapa de Ruta (MDR)

Non-PRO Spanish to English Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama Cast of Characters
Hi ProZ friends!

Happy Holidays! I am translating a script and episodes for a Mexican Soap Opera. In the Cast of Characters, is a list of the participants, and under comments I have found "Muere in MDR !". I have identified that MDR is translated as Mapa de Ruta, but I can't seem to find the English equivalent. In fact, I will be translating the Mapa de Ruta for the first series of episodes.

What I have found so far is Estructura Narrativa- Narration Structure, but that doesn't seem to do it for me. Would this be the equivalent of "Season" as in Season 1? Not sure either since this would refer to Temporada in Spanish.

Looking for your quick response, I have to make up my mind in the next 2 hours!!

Best and thanks,
Mary

More context in Spanish, please Could you give us the complete comment * in Spanish*? As many sentences as you have. I'm very skeptical of your interpretation of the abbreviation. A person doesn't die on a map; they die on a highway.

I haven't found any particular examples of this, but I don't see how else you could translate it. It's presumably internal company terminology.
Note from asker:
Thanks Phil. I always appreciate your input. I finally went with Narrative Structure, since it is really related to the story. HappyHolidays!!
