Tengo una duda en la construcción be non suited que aparece en un poder notarial.
To commence prosecute enforce defend answer or oppose all sanctions and other legal proceedings and demandas touching any of the matters aforesaid or any other matters in which the Company is or may hereafter be interested or concerned and also if thought fit to compromise refer to arbitration abandon submit to jugdement or ******be non suited****** in any such action or proceedings as aforesaid.
Mi intento sería algo así:
[...] si se estima conveniente, transigir, recurrir a arbitraje, renunciar, someter a juicio o no ser demandado con respecto a las acciones o procedimientos mencionados.

Desistimiento
This is an interesting blog entry by Rebecca Jowers on deistimiento, which could apply in civil proceedings and refers, in this context, to the claimant withdrawing the suit (as opposed to sobreseimiento, whereby the court imposes a stay of proceedings, etc)
