This is the name of a column in an academic transcript from the school of medicine from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.

Es algo que aparece con frecuencia en los certificados de notas, pero es difícil de saber sin tener la información de lo que contiene la columna

# Mat.

It stands for # matrícula. This refers to how many times the student has been enrolled in that same class. If a student passed a subject it shows 1, if they did not pass and took it again it may show 2, if the subject was not taken or the student passed the subject by other means (as a placement test or because the subject was already taken in another university), it is left blank.
I am a graduate from that university and a currently work as a translator there as well.

I forgot to mention, since these grades are shown in a table and there is not much space, I would keep it as it is, or maybe put #Enrol. to make it clearer.
