Spanish term

hechos vitales

Spanish to English Other Government / Politics
On an official website there is information about official procedures, paperwork, etc. for certain important events in people's lives. The cases covered are having a baby, going to university, starting your own business, travelling abroad and looking for a job. In the heading these are referred to collectively as "hechos vitales". I'm having trouble finding a neat way to say this in English. Any ideas? TIA

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "In my context 'significant events' is the most suitable answer. 'Life events' is good for having a baby, getting married or going to university but it doesn't feel right for foreign travel (could be lots of trips) or finding a job (could happen several times). "
