Hi Wilman, sure. In the sentence, it seems to me, the "废" could mean "废掉"，and according to the sentence & content, my best guess is it means to "destroy" those viruses.

The original content is quite confusing, for me, the whole sentence is trying to propose to clear all the viruses. Hope this help :)

This is my opinion: During a conservation, sometimes repeated content will not be mentioned after the topic is proposed at the very beginning, and so when putting the verbal content into words/sentences, the so called "missing parts" will be expressed to show the full meaning of the phrase.

so the sentence will be something like this:
是刘红梅{废埃博拉，SARS，h7n9, MERS 禽流感，鸟流感，人流感}的，是我(刘红梅)劝说人儿们{废埃博拉，SARS，h7n9, MERS 禽流感，鸟流感，人流感}的

废 In some confidential documents, the word "redacted" is used to intentionally delete or remove some words or phrases or sentences for confidential concern. I think 废 may be a word for such purposes here.

Hi. May I know what is the phenomenon mentioned (是在解这个"现象"的时候)? Or may I know briefly on what had happened that prompted her/him to say so? This may give a clue on what does the word "废" mean.
