CCTV disc is a hard disk. No one will call the USB memory stick to adisc.
That's my point.
It is one of the rare cases where I am very confident because my office worked for a large CCTV service provider so I do have approximately 40 translated handbooks on my PC. Otherwise I would not argue. But what Crannmer wrote me "Po prostu zwykła płyta CD lub DVD z nagraniem z rejestratora" is nonsense.

1. We don't know what year the document regards to.
2. Someone copied a CCTV recording onto a CD-R or DVD-R disc - that's my bet. I can't see any sensational about it. A 'disc' (whatever the type) is as good as an USB memory stick.

So my Polish is limited but that this is a hard disk - dysk twardy - today, it is no question but a fact.
You can modify my answer (w cyfrowym formacie na dysku twardym) but today this is not a CD.

Your initial sentence is just badly formed (maybe not a professional) but I am sure he/she talks about hard disk

During the 1990s, digital multiplexing was developed, allowing several cameras to record at once, as well as time lapse and motion-only recording. This increased savings of time and money and the led to an increase in the use of CCTV.
Recently CCTV technology has been enhanced with a shift toward internet-based products and systems, and other technological developments.

Zapis obrazu i dźwięku w systemach CCTV
Na przestrzeni lat sposoby zapisu obrazu i dźwięku w systemach telewizji przemysłowej CCTV ulegały zmianom. Początkowo do zapisu obrazu i dźwięku w instalacjach CCTV wykorzystywano magnetowidy poklatkowe, które rejestrowały dane na nośnikach w postaci kaset VHS. Szybko jednak okazało się, że taki sposób zapisu danych wideo jest nie tylko mało wygodny, ponieważ nie pozwala na szybkie odnajdywanie konkretnych nagrań, ale także stosunkowo drogi, ponieważ w systemach ciągłej rejestracji wymaga częstej wymiany kaset VHS. Obecnie praktycznie wszystkie standardowe systemy monitoringu rejestrują dane audio/wideo za pomocą tzw. rejestratorów cyfrowych, które całkowicie wyparły urządzeń starszej generacji w postaci magnetowidów poklatkowych.

Dostępne w handlu rejestratory cyfrowe możemy najprościej podzielić na dwie grupy produktów, mianowicie: rejestratory cyfrowe w postaci samodzielnych urządzeń (z wyglądu przypominające standardowe odtwarzacze DVD) oraz rejestratory w postaci kart komputerowych DVR, które instaluje się na platformie odpowiednio skonfigurowanych komputerów klasy PC. Niezależnie od tego z którą grupą produktów mamy do czynienia, w każdym przypadku zapewnia ona zdecydowanie większą funkcjonalność niż przestarzałe magnetowidy poklatkowe.
