Se supone que es algo que de alguna forma se asemeja a un dedo que limpia alguna parte (probablemente móvil) del transportador, como las escobillas de limpieza que se ven en las escaleras mecánicas, pero en pequeño, me imagino.
Yo pediría un dibujo o una foto al cliente y luego traduces según el parecido (porque dedo no se suele utilizar). Nombres que podrían encajar: escobilla, lamina, uña, etc. pero ya te digo, sin verlo es difícil acertar.
