After a further adjournment, in January 2016, a hearing for the continuation of the cross-examination, re-examination and further cross-examination of the plaintiffs’ witness from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources took place. The witness was presented by the plaintiffs in an attempt to prove that the contamination of the waters of Guimaras from the oil spill, lasted from the spill in 2006 up to May 2011, based on data analysis of the water collected between such dates.
