How to close the question If you want to close the question, after 24 hours have passed, select the most helpful answer by pressing the button "Select this answer as most helpful". You will then get the option to award 4 to 1 points, according to how helpful the answer was to you, or close it without grading if no answers were helpful. This closes the question. You can also enter the answer in the glossary, which makes the term searchable in the database and awards you 10 brownie points. :-)

Ok, I will do it next time. But I sometimes have trouble closing the question with that option. Can you help?

Why not for points? Awarding points is a way to thank colleagues who took the time to help you. Doesn't cost you anything.
