Swedish term

tanka

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
en kontroll av aktie- och terminspriser har gjorts genom att tanka externa priser

This is an internal paper regarding share valuations and the basis on which they are made.
I haven't seen "tanka" used in this way before so want to check the meaning. My understanding here is that the external prices have been inserted into the model to check that it works correctly. Is that right? If so, how would you translate it?
Thank you.

Discussion

George Hopkins Nov 24, 2015:
Perhaps: ...by filling up with external prices...
and... 'vid tankningstillfället' = ...at the fill-up of external prices...
Roger Matthews (asker) Nov 23, 2015:
Thanks, yes, it would have to be something like that.
It goes on to use ‘vid tankningstillället’ a couple of times, so it could be ‘on the date considered’ perhaps. I've used ‘at the time of insertion’ at the moment.
Interesting that noone seems to recognise it yet.
George Hopkins Nov 23, 2015:
Perhaps '...considered in the model...' (?)

"Tanka" has this meaning as well. It might fit in this context.

how about "stocking up on" then?
Note from asker:
Thanks, I tried "loading" but it didn't seem to fit... although perhaps in the "upload" sense. I'll see if I get a response from the client before grading
