Japanese term

感知しない

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
(LSIに関する書類)

[フレームタイプ]フレームではDCS領域(_バイト)が付与されている。
なおDCS領域の値は関知しない。

I'm not sure of the nuance of 関知しない here. Does it mean "doesn't matter"? "Is not relevant"? "Is not a concern"? Other? Thank you.
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

conejo (asker) Sep 4, 2015:
関知 I apologize, all instances of かんち are supposed to say 関知.
Thank you.
Kayoko Kimura Sep 4, 2015:
Which are you asking, 『感知」or「関知」? You are using two different words in your question. Please specify.

do not care

"Is not relevant" is also OK.

"do not care" is often used to describe digital input that would not affect the outcome of the digital logic.

Example sentence:

DCS領域の値は関知しない。 We do not care about the values in the DCS field.

The values in the DCS field are considered "do not care".

agree Marc Brunet : faithful rendering of IT's morphological use of the phrase (Adj not Vb).

agree V N Ganesh : I agree with your explanation."would not affect/influence"is more appropriate.
