I don't think it really matters whether you can find information about it. You just have to translate what it says.

My comment wasn't meant nastily. It just sounded like you thought the source text was wrong.

Thank you. I am aware of what my job as a translator is. The reason I was looking for information about it was in order to find the best way of expressing it. Thanks. |
HI Kate. No problem. This is not entirely my area so I risked using the wrong word structure through the lack of info. Thanks. |

In Italian, "Forest fruits" is translated into "Frutti di bosco", but in the text you gave us is not "Frutti di bosco", but " frutti rossi e viola a bacca". That's why, I didn't use the term you asked me for. You know that the "red fruits world" is immense, with blueberries, redcurrants and so on. And it is not simple for an Italian, for example, learning all these differences.
Anyway, if we translate your text literally, it is not forest fruits. That's what I think. Maybe, the company would like to specify more about the kinds of fruit and I think they want to stress the concept of cold pressing, which is so important in this context and for example for extravirgin olive oil, too. That's a plus from a marketing point of view.

WOuld "fruits of the forest" / "forest fruits" work? This is what we normally say in UK. |
