wine description
This is a wine to taste with the label clearly in front of you, to think of other Petrus vintages as opposed to what is in the 1985.

to remind you that this is Petrus
In the link that you give, the author is clearly disappointed with the 1985 vintage (or more precisely, the bottles of it that he purchased) and so he recommends looking at the label while you drink the wine to remind you of other, better, vintages.

He seems scarcely able to believe that he is tasting the same wine as other commentators - so he needs to keep looking at the label!
