Dans certains pays d'Asie (et sans doute dans d'autres aussi), les prises électriques strandard ont 3 broches, au lieu de 2 chez nous, en France.
"Tap" a de nombreux sens et beaucoup réfèrent à une petite tige ou plaque métallique.

: In EN, we would never use 'tap' to mean a pin — and 3-pin plugs are very common all over the world.
