w każdym razie - najbliżej oddania zgodnie z praktyką w Polsce, to - co do generalnej zasady - withdrawal ...
następnie - co do światowego udziału w rejestracji znaków towarowych oraz bardzo aktywnej polityki w tzw. "międzynarodowych rejestracjach" (system madrycki) -- to - praktyka i nomenklatura USPTO -- surrender;
z całym szacunkiem dla poprawnego stosowania lokalnej nomenklatury w Kanadzie -- expungement nie ma praktyki - zarówno w polskim - krajowym postępowaniu oraz polskim - z udziałem w postępowaniu międzynarodowym (np. - system madrycki lub OHIM)
