всю наличку подготовил

prepared all we've got (for him)

Perhaps I'm really stretching it but the doubt is still there. So, my rendering of “вся наличка“ here is more general: “все, что у нас имеется в наличии“, meaning materials, documentation, etc, but not necessarily cash.

That is simply because I don't see how it is that one prepares cash for the client: usually one expects money FROM the client.... unless of course it's a kickback...

But you would know all that from the context... if any.

Peer comment(s):

neutral Vladimir Zakharov : I think Russian movies have a general tendency of thinking that working is all about preparing cash - seen it multiple times :) probably that's because of the auteurs not being used to working :) so I wouldn't overthink here

you may well be right
agree El oso : Excellent point, Michael. While the rendering itself is somewhat heavy-footed (no offence meant :), the idea could definitely use some further pondering over.

get the cash ready

Or "all the cash", but that'd be redundant, imho

...need you to get all the available cash ready

.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Vladimir Zakharov : IMHO, "available" makes it sound too formal
