Non rieco a capire il senso dell'espressione "trade back agreement" che tipo di contratto è?

Il termine oltre a comparire nel titolo compare anche diverse altre volte.
Di seguito riporto alcuni esempi:
"2.1 The Customer, in terms of a separate agreement, purchased new vehicles from
XXX
2.2 XXX offers a trade-back for each of the vehicle(s) (“Trade-Back Vehicles”)
reflected in Schedule A1 attached hereto, subject to the terms and conditions
contained in this Agreement.
2.3 The offer will operate as a separate and distinct agreement in respect of each
vehicle reflected in the Guaranteed Trade-back vehicle Schedule found in Annexure
A attached to this contract."

E poi più avanti anche qualche definizione:
"4.9 Trade-Back Vehicle condition means the condition of the Trade -Back Vehicle at
the date of its trade back;"

"4.11 Trade-Back Vehicle means a Vehicle to be purchased by XXX through a
Dealer or from the Customer on the terms and conditions contained in this
Agreement;"

Non riesco però a trovare il traducente in italiano di questa espressione.
