Estou traduzindo uma Certidão de Prontuário emitida pelo DETRAN. No campo "Histórico" da certidão, há várias abreviações e não consigo encontrar o significado delas. Alguém saberia me dizer o que quer dizer "OPER" no trecho a seguir:

Operador/usuário do sistema Confirmei com uma tradutora que trabalha no Detran, oper é o operador/usuário do sistema. Obrigada, gente.

Another option I agree that clerk works better. I also just thought of "agent"...

Meaning of OPERATOR to native US-EN speakers in my opinion it's quite different than OPERADOR DO SISTEMA which to me conveys the idea of a clerk working in this DETRAN office (DMV - Dept. of Motor Vehicles)......I don't think anyone here in the States with that job would be called an "operator".....although I really don't know what they would it call it the UK...
