Strictly speaking, you don't really need the 'heat-' part, as that is pretty much a given. It might have been more explicit had the source text mentioned it is made of plastic — but as it doesn't, you can't really add it in!
I think whether you call it a cover or a (jolly big!) bag doesn't really matter too much — but the 'fitted' notion is useful for rendering the idea of 'housse' and also explaining why it needs welded seams!

Yes, I know just the sort of thing you mean! It is very often sealed up using adhesive tape to close the opening, but the 'welds' will be where the 'corners' are joined to make the flat sheet into a fitted box / bag / cover shape.

Anyway, thanks to all your contributions, I'm sure I'll manage to come up with something that conveys the meaning, even though I can't seem to find an exact term for this type of plastic sheeting.
As Chris points out, if this 'housse' is in some way fitted (to the shape of the object, for example), then it may well have welded corner seams, say — but almost certainly not actually be sealed; a kind of 'shaped bag', perhaps.
Heat welding is a common techniique with lots of plastic materials, and down to even quite thing sheet thicknesses — as here 80 µ (not all THAT thin, actually — 100 µ would be 0.1 mm, so quite thick as plastic sheeting goes).
Another very pedantic distinction can be made in differentiating "strong" from "tough", which are different properties in the eyes of a materials scientist!
- résistante : strong/tough/heavy-duty
- thermo-soudée : heat-sealed
- non-perforante : means that the material the cover is made from does not hole easily.
"housse" is a blanket or cover.
"thermo soudée" is another term (perhaps the most problematic), separated from "résistante" acc. MHO.
"résistante" is self-explaining.
"non perforante" means cannot be perforated.
Please post a question for each unclear term!
Your approach "heat-welded unperforated sheet" contains some errors.
"heat-welded" is no professional term.
"unperforated" is completely wrong, as Tony a ready mentioned.
"sheet" is no translation of "housse".
"résistante" is omitted.
A 'housse' usually implies more than just a sheet — possibly some kind of bag or fitted cover — you don't actually explain what article is being protected here?
'non perforante' doesn't mean 'unperforated' (perforé) — it presumably means 'puncture-resistant' or somesuch.
'résistante' needs to be rendered as well.
