Spanish term

plano aspirante

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks equipment used in garages
Another term I have found for equipment used in garajes. There is no other context in the document, but I have found a MAFRE document which explains the term:

Hope you can help

Discussion

Noni Gilbert Riley Apr 23, 2015:
More context please In your CESVIMAP/MAPFRE link the writer stresses that the term is used in two ways: "Es importante distinguir la
zona de preparación del plano aspirante,
ya que en muchos casos se utilizan ambos
conceptos indistintamente para referirse
tanto a la zona como al equipo." And then later he says "En algunos casos se utiliza también la
palabra plénum para referirse al plano
aspirante "

I've come up across this confusion myself on numerous occasions when translating on this specific subject.

Also, when you say "garajes", do you mean repair shops or private - domestic - garages?

agree neilmac : Although the site in the link seems to call them "aspiring plans" (they must have used MT).

Yes, I noticed that too. I looked it up and didn't find anything. I think it's just a rather cute Spanglish example.
