7. ("the "segredo de justiça" »» "the confidentiality of the criminal enquiry"): http://www.refworld.org/pdfid/4256740d4.pdf

Reference re "closure": ---
http://www.dmlp.org/legal-guide/georgia-state-court-records
With regard to closure because of a claimed privacy interest, the court must distinguish the privacy interest in that particular case from the general desire to avoid embarrassment that would otherwise lead all parties to a lawsuit to ask for closed records.

Judicial secrecy

I am sure that this is the expression you need. Glossary entry below:

"In cases under JUDICIAL SECRECY, the public is not allowed to attend the criminal proceedings, the media is not allowed to report or reproduce its content and access to case files is not possible for the public and very limited for other legal parties."

My links show the usage of this term in both UK and US news pages.
Example sentence:

"All criminal cases in Portugal - and elsewhere in much of Europe - are governed by the law of JUDICIAL SECRECY."

"Irony swirls around Brownback's cloak of JUDICIAL SECRECY"
