At that time a third employee (oiler) came by and told Justin that a piece of grip strut (i.e. the metallic conveyor return cover section that covered the moving box chain links beneath it) was making noise at the board edger chipper return conveyor.

The journeyman saw the oiler in this room; the oiler told the journeyman that the grip strut (same one he told Justin about) was making noise.

The journeyman approached Justin from behind and realized that Justin’s upper body was pinned between the edge of the grip strut and the underside of the conveyor pan above which was about 71” from the floor.
