Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology Argentina
I have a couple of acronyms in a list of echocardiogram (M-mode and two-dimensional) findings that I'm having trouble with. The report is from Argentina.

**EPSD** reference range = 0.6-1.1 cm
EPPD

I think you may be right about the "pared septal" -- I haven't been able to come up with anything else.
Thanks for the added context. It just occurred to me that it could be "pared septal", which would account for the P in "EPSD" :)

It's a typed form and clearly says "EPSD" -- but that doesn't mean they didn't type it wrong. :) Thanks for your input on this.
Are you sure it's EPSD and not ESD? This reference range is consistent with the interventricular septum thickness, which could be rendered as "espesor del septum en diástole" (ESD).
