French term

eo

French to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng manufacturing
What is the meaning of "eo" in the context of the following sentence? I can't find a reference for this term anywhere! Préparer un réacteur émaillé parfaitement propre (ou eo de la réaction précédente)

Typo? It would also help to know something of the provenance of the document? It looks to me suspiciously like a typo or, if the document has been OCR-ed, perhaps a scanno.

@Anna Can you give us a couple of clues? For example:
- what are they manufacturing?
- what was the 'réaction précédente'?

OK (en ordre)

I've answered three other queries about e.o. in manufacturing forms in the last couple of weeks. It seems like there is a giant Fr>En job around at the moment. Usually I translate it as OK (OK fits in the tiny sign-off boxes in the manufacturing records). You could use that here I suppose but anything that gets across the idea of "passed QA from the previous step" will render the meaning if you have more space.

possible, but would have to be seen in a larger context

neutral philgoddard : Doesn't seem likely, since that would be AE in French.
