qystek

In a receipt from a goldsmith, some items have names that don't exist in my dictionaries, not even with the possible spelling variants. At least one of the words is Serbian, llanac (with the spelling of the receipt), but qystek does not look Serbian (to me).

Pocketwatch Chain
This is actually a pocket-watch chain. It is a Turkish derived word "köstek". It usually is spelled "qostek". Very much in use during the earlier 1900-ies.

In many Albanian speaking parts of the world the term "qistek", "qystek" is used for a certain type of golden collar (chain). It is true that the same term traditionally was used for pocket watch chain but not anymore.
