I only suggested rescission because you posted another question with "rescisão". If the original has "rescisão", "resolução" and "denúncia", are you going to use "termination" for all of them?

: experation. In the USA a persons Insurance expires, terminates or is revocked. I was not trying to be rude. If I were translating this I would not use rescission. Typing on my phone, so I'm prone to fat finger errors, no spelling assistance required.

There is a difference between 'resolving' and 'denouncing' a contract.
BTW, in international law, Treaties can be 'denounced'.
Also, UK lawyers who claim contracts cannot be 'cancelled' should read and revise carefully, without falling asleep, the UK Consumer Credit Act 1974
