Hair trimming device (patent)
The hair trimming device of claim 7, wherein the transmission mechanism comprises an eccentric connected to the motor shaft and engaged with a *bridge member*, the *bridge member* being carried by a pair of parallel pivotal links whereby the *bridge member* is reciprocated in response to rotation of the motor shaft.
Fig. 5 in the drawings shows the bridge member (27) and the pivotal links (28)

I found "Brückenglied" but I am not sure, if that will fit in this context and thought maybe "Verbindungsglied" could work.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Heike

Strebe
I cannot zoom in on the drawing without it being very fussy. So I did not really see what the part looked like. But a connecting part that also strengthens a frame is often called "Strebe". However, I have not seen one that small before.

Note from asker:
Thank you Sabine. This being a patent, the term has to be as vague as the source. Therefore I chose Verbindungsteil. |
