I do not understand the second sentence.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

I hope that this is not the sort of elitist argument that assumes that one lot of people contribute ideas, while another lot of people contribute the hands to construct what has been conceived. It is better to assume that all people can be workers by both hand and brain. (To freely adapt Clause 4.)
This reinforces my sense of the meaning of this sentence. The context involves leaders of "peace" thinking. |

With its ideological, right wing approach, the Conservatives have single-handedly created a situation that will contribute to the rise of poverty in our country.

Tony M
: You can't speak of 'arms' doing anything 'single-handedly' — it would sound comical at best, and at worst, nonsensical: the brain does not provide a second hand.

As in "they suffice to destroy what has been (was) built".
More context about what leads up to this pair of sentences might help to get the style and pitch right.
left alone
Les idées engagent les bras dans la construction du monde. Ces derniers à eux seuls ne font que détruire ce qui a été construit.
... . Left alone, hands ....

ideas are needed to drive positive action - exactly the point; no need to add "elitism" nor "anti-elitism" in the mix. Thanks!
