: does sound similar, but it's from the wrong story (finance, not accounting) // as it happens, I am not guessing, I know enough about both fields to be 100% sure that this is wrong. It's a name for a financial instrument, not for an account.

What I find worrying is that there isn't any ghit of "izvedeni konto" - which would imply that it's a jargon specific to just this author and the usual term for this kind of accounts is something else, so it's maybe better to forget "derived" and use "linked accounts"
