exophthalmos/exorbitism
exophthalmos/exorbitism都是突眼,但是两者之间有区别。
Exophthalmos is a protrusion of the eyeball due to an increase in orbital contents in a normal bony orbit.
Exorbitism is a protrusion of the eyeball due to a decrease in capacity of the orbital container, with a normal orbital content volume such as seen in a congenital form termed nonsyndromic exorbitism.

Infiltrative ophthalmopathy (-)
Infiltrative Ophthalmopathy is found in Graves disease and resembles exophthalmos, except that the blurry or double vision is acquired because of weakness in the ocular muscles of the eye. In addition, there is no known correlation with the patient's thyroid levels.
