"Deformity of the skull base is recognizable
in almost all patients, as are thinning and irregularity of
the
calvaria. Additional findings include sphenoid ridge abnormalities,
thickening of the bone around the frontozygomatic
suture,
foreshortened anteroposterior length of the anterior
cranial
fossa, shallow orbits, anterior and superior displacement
of the sphenoid bones, and anterior displacement of the
petrous
bones.
