Mantoux test or Intradermal PPD Injection
It's the name of a test used mostly for diagnosis of tuberculosis, in Spain they call this test PPD intradermorreacción, sometimes they refer to it as IDT (from the English acronym : Intradermoreaction Test - personally I wouldn't use that term in your translation, though, as - although not sure - I think the other names are more commonly used in English today, but then again it would be a literal translation of the Spanish term).

La prueba cutánea de la Tuberculosis se solicita cuando el médico quiere investigar si un paciente ha tenido contacto con el bacilo productor del cuadro tuberculoso.
Puesto que el bacilo de la tuberculosis está en suspensión en el aire y se transmite a través de las secreciones respiratorias, esta prueba se pueden solicitarse cuando alguien ha estado en estrecho contacto con un individuo con la forma activa de la enfermedad, o cuando ha estado en un país extranjero donde la tuberculosis puede ser más frecuente.
No se requiere muestra. La prueba se realiza en la piel del individuo. Se utiliza una solución de un ***derivado proteico purificado (PPD)*** que contiene antígenos del microorganismo, pero no bacterias vivas, para provocar una reacción de hipersensibilidad en la piel (una protuberancia rojiza) en aquellos que han sido expuestos al mismo. El paciente debe regresar al laboratorio a las 72 horas para hacer la lectura de la prueba.
