Vehikel hat doch in unserem Land immer noch eher eine Bedeutung in der Art "alte Karre". In GB gilt es durchaus auch als "Mittel zum Zweck" oder ähnlich. Die fast wörtliche Übersetzung "provide a vehicle" müsste hier passen. Bin kein Patent-Spezialist, daher kein Posting.

Thanks that makes it a little clearer. It does sound like the plaintiff has to produce a legal document, showing that she held certain rights at a certain date, as she claims. I still think this can be translated with: presenting/producing an instrument/legal document. I am curious to see other suggestion though.

§ 30 Abs. 3 S. 2 PatG begründet keine Vermutung der materiellen Rechtsinhaberschaft.
Diese Norm regelt - entgegen der anscheinend bei der Klägerin bestehenden Rechtsauffassung - nach diesseitiger Ansicht nur die Befähigung, über das Patent zu verfügen.

Die Klägerin muss mithin ein Vehikel vortragen, welches ihr ermöglicht, die geltend gemachten Ansprüche als angeblich eigene Ansprüche auch geltend zu machen.
