The Āranyakas explain the organizing power of the gaps between the Vedic hymns. The gap represents non-manifest silence between two Vedic sounds. These gaps are important as a transcendent porch from which every following word is pre-programmed in the wholeness of consciousness

The change from summer to fall is a period of time called Ritu Sandhi in Ayurveda. It refers to the gapbetween seasons.

Erre a magyarban aktivitást asszociálunk: "légy résen", "reptéri résidő" (EN persze "slot").
The word "liminal" is used to refer to a transformative place, space, and sense of identity within cultural and ritual processes; it denotes a gap or threshold realm. Understood as a gap, the liminal implies a stage of transformation from which another stage, or new forms of identity or relationship, are born.

the dynamics of natural law are expressed not only in the actual sequence of sounds of the Ved, but also in the silences or gaps between the sounds. Maharishi explains (lecture, August 6, 1986) that it is actually within the gaps between the sounds of the Ved that the dynamics of transformation between one state and another take place, and from which all dynamics of natural law emerge. Maharishi identifies four stages in the gap between states of natural law.

Mantra means a sacred utterance, numinous sound, or a syllable, word, phonemes, or group of words believed by some to have psychological and spiritual power

Dawn and dusk are liminal time-spaces. They are the in-between spaces that we call Sandhi- or the gap- in Sanskrit. The gap is extremely powerful because it provides possibility, silent creativity and depth and is teeming with spiritual forces.

[38] Szerző megjegyzése: A „rés” szót itt más jelentésében használjuk, mint a későbbi Maharishivel történő „a rés négyféle természetéről” szóló beszélgetésben. Lásd például Maharishi Mahesh Yogi: Az Oktatás Tökéletességének Ünneplése: A Teljes Tudás Hajnala (Hollandia, MVU Kiadó, 1997), 150-151. oldal, ahol a „rés” a Védikus szövegek két szótagja közötti szünetre utal.
