fracture of the left humerus surgical neck with dislocation and shortening
Šajā gadījumā ir noticis augšdelma kaula lūzums kaula proksimālajā galā, tāpēc termina "shaft" lietošana nebūs pareiza, jo "shaft" atrodas kaulam pa vidu (vienkārši runājot). Ir kaulu galu nobīde, t.i. lūzuma vietā kaulu gali neatrodas viens pret otru (dislocation) un kaulu gali muskuļu kontrakciju ietekmē ir nobīdijušies attiecībā viens pret otru, saīsinot ekstremitāti (shortening).

Sorry, "dislocation" vietā jābūt "displacement"!!!
