I am translating a marriage licence certificate and I found this expression within a longer sentence" Witness my official signature and SEAL OF OFFICE IN HARRIS COUNTY."
I have a doubt on the translation of office, which I think is not simply translated as "ufficio" in this case. The seal is illegible and can't help me and there's another stamp on the same page that reports the words "County Court of Harris County- Texas". I have translated this phrase as "Tribunale Civile della Contea di Harris, Texas" and am in doubt wether to use the same expression for the translation of office as "ufficio del tribunale civile della Contea di Harris".
Can any experienced, court certified or legal translator advise? Thanks
