If there are hills on a missile’s flight path, the missile, with the help of information received from the constellation, can circumvent the hills and reach the target.
The atomic clocks on board the constellation will enable missiles to execute manoeuvres including rolls at the appointed time.


Al parecer, hay una maniobra llamada roll en inglés que pueden ejecutar los misiles. alguna idea??

Alabeo: El eje longitudinal es un eje imaginario que se extiende desde el morro a la cola del avión. El movimiento que realiza el avión alrededor de este eje se denomina alabeo o balanceo.

The longitudinal axis passes through the plane from nose to tail. Rotation about this axis is called bank or roll.

What do they mean by rolls in the original? No sure....a couple of options here:

rolls, en el sentido de girar, rodar, virar-->giros

rolls, en el sentido de un vaiven, serpenteo, --> serpenteos

Me inclino más por "giros"
