Hello,
I appreciate that sysytems vary from country to country but I was surpised not to see this in the glossaries.
The title of the document is just "convention définitive" but given the content the solicitor has just decided not to write "de divorce".
It also seems to be a mutual agreement.
The document I have has been drawn up by a solicitor (maître) and the first line reads;
"Les époux soussignés entendent soumettre à l'examen de Monsieur le Juge aux Affaires Familiales le convention définitive portant sur les points suivants".
There must be a specific UK term for this.

You asked for the specific name in the UK
The procedure is slightly different so the closest you can get is either to say that one spouse filed for divorce with conditions that the other party accepts or possibly (uncontested) or that it was a jointly filed petition
The basic conditions, esp for children, are in the form (see 2nd ref) and I suppose they could attach a more detailed agreement but that is the basic procedure and name in UK ENG
The problem with legal terms and proceedings is always the same . No exact equivalents. Cyril's suggestion leans towards a French understanding while mine leans towards an English understanding which you did ask for at the end of your question

: The "convention" is not the petition per se, it is a detailed agreement on all ancillary matters which is submitted to the Court for approval
