I can't really picture the situation described in the last clause (in relation to the rest of the sentence), even though the terms are clear to me.

Das Gegenüberstellen der beiden unterschiedlichen Versicherungswerte entsprach nicht dem tatsächlichen Streitgegenstand, deshalb "was". Das wäre eine Lösung.
Die andere wäre, dass der Zeitwert des Rückversicherungsvertrags nicht dem Neuwert des Erstversicherungsvertrags entsprach. Dann müsste aber statt "was" "der" stehen.

Actual ist 'ne gute Idee. Danke dafür. Ansonsten verstehe ich den Teilsatz leider immer noch nicht (schnief). Ich kann mir da einfach konkret nichts drunter vorstellen.
