Hi, the document is a supreme court ruling and this is the first paragraph of the document. The only thing it says before is "Vistos y teniendo presente". Do you need more info? Thank you for your help! It is really appreciated.

Yes, I agree with Alegro that to pin this we could do with the surrounding text. Dar cuenta can have various meanings - all of which depend on the context.
