In tongue section of points, there shall be a minimum vertical radius of 5000 metres. Super elevation ramps shall not be laid to coincide with vertical curves. If this cannot be avoided, the minimum vertical curve is 2000 metres. Where the tracks go in existing streets, this requirement can be waived, but the cars' minimum requirements must always be met.

Tongue section R=25, R=50, R=100, R=150

For the geometry of each points delivery, when points are ordered, drawings must be prepared showing the complete geometry of the tongue area, intermediate rails and crossing.
