globalisation artificielle des chiffres d'affaires

French to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Legal letter
Hello all,
I'm translating a legal letter dealing with the termination of a business relationship. The following is quoted, I believe it comes from the French Commercial Code but I can't find the English translation of this article. As far as I can tell, it's to do with central purchasing bodies and the granting of discounts for volume purchases. Sorry for the long extract, but I think it's necessary for a proper understanding. Thanks for any help!

unproven turnover total

I imagine this is just another advantage solicited for an uneffectively rendered business service from a business partner, mentioned in the preceding paragraph.

artificial aggregation of turnover

So translated in this document:
http://www.internationalcompetitionnetwork.org/uploads/libra...
for an international conference on this aspect of competition law in 2008. See page 47 of the PDF.

"Aggregation" is a better word to use here than "consolidation" (with its accounting associations), especially where the adding together is *unwarranted* and involves no intragroup eliminations.

For the wider Anglosphere, though, I would avoid "turnover" in favour of "revenue", "sales" or "business volume".
