Hi Barbara, vertical would be a "Schnitt" in German - I'm quite sure "Niveau" and "Karte" means horizontal.

Hi Coqueiro, I think it's actually vertical cross-sections, which they later contrast with horizontal maps, but yes, definitely cross-sections. :) |
