empleado dependiente, jubilado pensionado o montepiado

Montepio comes from Monte de Piedad... and it is a form of charity...

It's a type of pension in Chile paid by a montepio, which I think is for widows or is quasi-charitable.

employee receiving a pension

As I understand it, the difference between montepiado and pensionado is that montepiado is from a specific fund rather than the general old-age fund. For example, the link below is for the Chilean police.
