frontline associate recognition initiative

Homework / test English to Spanish Science Geology gemologist work
As a manager for Compass Group, Support Services, what do you need to know to be a great GEM-ologist? With the launch of GEM2 frontline associate recognition initiative, managers like you are going to be very focused on discovering the precious gemstones that make their teams valuable to our customers. So, you might be asking, what are GEMs, and why are we looking for them?
Being the GEM-ologist
When you know the realities of what our hourly associates do every day, day in and day out, and witness the amazing spirit that continues to sparkle, despite strenuous work and daunting personal challenges, then it is easy to understand why we call our best associates GEMs. GEM2 stands for Great Employees Make Magic, and it may be one of the first recognition initiatives just for frontline associates in our industry. We have long acknowledged that without our housekeepers, transporters, maintenance workers, laundry technicians, groundskeepers, administrative assistants, receptionists, technicians, and so many others, the company would be like a big, powerful engine…with no fuel. Our frontline associates form 85% of our company. They truly are the Magic, and managing the Magic is the job of the other 15%—our GEM-ologists!

Thanks!
