Jan 21, 2013 15:14: Amar Nath changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): Lalit Sati, Ashutosh Mitra, Amar Nath

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Rashmi Macwan Jan 26, 2013:
"Follow us" and "sign-up" are coined expressions. If you are using it as labels or widget then its better to transliterate then wor2word translate. I would prefer "फोलो करें " and "साइन-अप करें."
Raman Kumar Jan 22, 2013:
"हमारा अनुसरण करें" और "साइन-अप करें".

We should use transliteration of "Sign-Up" as It is well know and user friendly term. We generally speak "XXX पर साइन अप करें".

नाम दर्ज कराएं/पंजीकरण करें should be used for "Enroll/Register"
allan C (X) (asker) Jan 21, 2013:
I Would prefer hindi translation instead of hindi transliteration.

Thanks-

If translation (not transliteration) is insisted the above is the best in my opinion.

Peer comment(s):

agree TranslationHub : वैसे इस प्रकार की सामग्री में लिप्यतंरण का प्रयोग अधिक होता है, लेकिन इसका हिंदी अनुवाद यही सटीक है।
