I am not quite sure, if you were asking for this term: 三点リーダー.
As this also is a common effect used to edit print. Perhaps this helps?

As far as I can tell, this is simply the name of an effect that is part of the GIMP plug-in called G'MIC. More info here:

I don't see it mentioned in any other context really, so I would probably just leave it as-is. If you really wanted to avoid the English, I might opt for a transliteration like エリプションイズム, but there are no results for this on Google, while there are results with the English being used on a Japanese page.
If you just really want to come up with an equivalent Japanese word, it seems that the root is "ellipse" (楕円). I'm not really sure how the filter implements ellipses, though. It looks like it just overlays a bunch of ovals from the screenshot. 楕円主義? Probably better to stick with the English!
