Ein Auszug ist einer Schublade von der Funktion her sehr ähnlich, hat aber nur sehr niedrige Seiten, während die Schublade an den Seiten nur geringfügig niedriger ist als die Verkleidung an der Stirn.
Auszug: anstelle von Türen, um den Zugriff auf Gegenstände weiter hinten im Schrank zu erleichtern.

: If they meant drawer they would say drawer (Schublade). In technical catalogues I have seen this as pull-out.

: Take care with previous ProZ glossary entries - they're not necessarily correct. I don't like this one either...a drawer normally has sides, an "Auszug" is normally flat.
